別用錯！蝦、龍蝦和小龍蝦的英文完全不一樣

“小龍蝦”是哪種蝦？

又到了吃小龍蝦的季節，真呀真開心，不過小龍蝦到底是哪種蝦呢？

讀書期間，接觸最早的表示“蝦”的英文是shrimp，但小龍蝦卻不能用這個詞表示。

shrimp是指小型的水生有殼動物，可以使用，比對蝦小，烹飪的時候會變紅。

而電視劇裡常出現的澳洲龍蝦和小龍蝦也不是同一個品種，大龍蝦常用lobster來表示。

龍蝦的頭胸部較粗大，外殼堅硬，色彩斑斕，腹部短小，體長一般在20～40厘米之間，重0.5公斤上下，是蝦類中最大的一類。最重的能達到5公斤以上，人稱龍蝦虎。

而深受大家喜愛的小龍蝦應該用crayfish來表示，這是淡水經濟蝦類，肉味鮮美，形似龍蝦，但是體積小很多。
