祖克柏的這封公開信，堪稱教科書級的求生欲了

這算是……怕了？

Facebook（臉書）的創始人、80後頂尖富豪馬克·祖克柏，前陣子的日子不太好過。

數據洩露的醜聞，讓Facebook一度深陷輿論的漩渦中……

對此，祖克柏之前的態度一直都挺“叛逆”，反對政府乾預互聯網和社交媒體。

結果……在他最新的一封公開信上，祖克柏的態度突然180度大轉彎——主動呼籲政府加強監管。

……這是怕了？慫了？“想通”了？

就在台灣時間今天凌晨，《華盛頓郵報》刊登了祖克柏的這封公開信。

態度轉變之快，宛如“精分”：

在這封公開信裡，祖克柏這樣寫道：

Technology is a major part of our lives, and companies such as Facebook have immense responsibilities.

科技是我們生活的重要組成部分，像Facebook這樣的公司則肩負著巨大的責任。

Every day, we make decisions about what speech is harmful, what constitutes political advertising, and how to prevent sophisticated cyberattacks. These are important for keeping our community safe.

哪些什麽言論有害，哪些構成了政治（競選）廣告，如何防範錯綜複雜的網絡攻擊……每天，我們都在做著這類的判斷和決定，而這些對於維護我們社區的安全尤為重要。

I believe we need a more active role for governments and regulators.

我相信，我們需要政府和監管機構發揮更積極的作用。

By updating the rules for the Internet, we can preserve what’s best about it — the freedom for people to express themselves and for entrepreneurs to build new things — while also protecting society from broader harms.

通過樹立新的互聯網規則，我們可以保留它最好的一面——在網絡上人們能自由表達、企業家能自由創造——的同時，保護我們的社會免受更廣泛的傷害。

……可以，這很不“祖克柏”。

或許是求生欲過於強，這回祖克柏不僅態度大轉變，還轉變得很“徹底”。

他甚至還想了四個方面，自己支招怎麽來“限制自己”：

From what I’ve learned, I believe we need new regulation in four areas: harmful content, election integrity, privacy and data portability.

就我所知，我認為我們需要在四個方面進行新的監管：有害內容、選舉誠信、隱私保護和數據可移植性。

First, harmful content. We have a responsibility to keep people safe on our services. That means deciding what counts as terrorist propaganda, hate speech and more.

首先是“有害內容“。對於使用我們服務的人，我們有責任保護他們的安全。也就是說，我們需要界定哪些內容屬於恐怖主義宣傳、仇恨言論……等等，並做出處理。

Second, legislation is important for protecting elections. Facebook has already made significant changes around political ads: Advertisers in many countries must verify their identities before purchasing political ads.

其次，立法來保護選舉很重要。Facebook已經在政治廣告方面做出了諸多改變：許多國家的廣告商在(Facebook)購買政治廣告之前，必須進行身份核實。

Third, effective privacy and data protection needs a globally harmonized framework. People around the world have called for comprehensive privacy regulation in line with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, and I agree.

第三，有效的隱私和數據保護需要一個全球協調的架構。世界各地許多人都呼籲按照《歐盟一般數據保護條例》對隱私進行全面監管，我對此表示讚同。

Finally, regulation should guarantee the principle of data portability. If you share data with one service, you should be able to move it to another. This gives people choice and enables developers to innovate and compete.

最後，（建立）規則來保證數據可移植性的原則。如果你與一個服務商共享數據，你應該能夠將這些數據移動到另一個服務商。這既給予了人們諸多選擇，也使開發人員能保持創新和競爭。

這不，看到祖克柏之前各種作死、如今又突然求生欲爆棚的表態，國外網友在《華盛頓郵報》這封公開信下面也是各種吐槽——
