What happens in your family

when you lose a tooth？

如果你掉了一顆牙，你的家人會怎麼做？

In Canada and the United States，

we hope for a visit from the Tooth Fairy．

在加拿大和美國，我們希望牙仙能到訪。

We put our tooth under our pillow at night．

晚上，我們把掉的牙齒放到枕頭下。

In the morning，

we see that the Tooth Fairy

has taken our tooth

and given us some money．

第二天早上，我們會發現牙仙拿走了枕頭下的牙齒，並留下了一些錢。

In France，the Tooth Fairy also comes，

but she may give children

a small toy instead of money．

In Mexico and Spain，

children get money from a mouse！

In Slovenia，the mouse takes the tooth

keep the baby tooth as a souvenir，

maybe in a special little box．

In Austria，the parents may put the baby tooth onto a pendant chain or a key ring．
