【第一個句子是說明過去的事，be用過去式(was、were);第二個句子是說明現在的事，用一般現在時be(am、is、are)】
練習：他(那時)矮，他現在高。
他們(那時)年輕，現在他們上年紀了(年老了)。

【這兩個句子是同義句，劃線部分是一對反義詞，第一個句子用否定句，第二個句子用肯定句。】

【這是be的一般過去時的一般疑問句，是把be的形式(was、were)提到句首。注意答語。用“yes、no回答後，再用一個反義詞的肯定句回答。”】
