大批醫療物資運抵紐約 首架飛機來自中國

據美國媒體報導，當地時間29日，美國總統川普在白宮玫瑰園召開的新聞發布會上宣布，大量急需的抗疫物資已抵達紐約。

《紐約時報》報導稱，一架來自上海的飛機29日抵達紐約，機上載有80噸醫療物資，包括手套、口罩、防護服和其他醫療設備。

白宮官員表示，在4月初以前，將共有22架班機運送急需的醫療物資飛往美國，抗擊疫情，其中來自中國的是這批班機中的第一架。

A commercial aircraft carrying 80 tons of gloves, masks, gowns and other medical supplies from Shanghai touched down in New York on Sunday, the first of 22 scheduled flights that White House officials say will funnel much-needed goods to the United States by early April as it battles the world's largest coronavirus outbreak.

據@美國僑報網 報導，這些物資具體包括：1200萬手套、13萬N95口罩、170萬外科手術口罩、5萬套防護服以及13萬瓶洗手液和3.6萬支溫度計。

《紐約郵報》報導稱，這一援助計劃被稱為聯邦應急管理局（FEMA）項目“空中橋梁計劃”（Project Airbridge）。

川普表示，聯邦應急管理局正與私營公司主動合作，“加快從其他國家向美國運送重要物資”。

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is working with private companies on the initiative to "expedite the movement of critical supplies from other countries to the United States," the president said.

川普宣布，為運送防疫物資，聯邦應急管理局已額外安排了19架班機，並希望有大約50架班機，以運送相關防疫物資。

FEMA has scheduled 19 additional flights, and hopes to have about 50, Trump said at the press conference.

此外，川普在當天的發布會上描述了位於紐約皇后區的埃爾姆赫斯特醫院的“慘狀”。“運屍袋隨處可見。我一直看著他們把卡車運進來，那種冷藏式卡車。用冷藏卡車，是因為屍體太多了，他們處理不過來。這是在我的社區——紐約皇后區（見到的）。”

And he noted the grim scenes playing out at hard-hit Elmhurst Hospital in his native Queens.

"Body bags all over, in hallways. I've been watching them bring in trailer trucks — freezer trucks, they're freezer trucks, because they can't handle the bodies, there are so many of them. This is essentially in my community, in Queens, Queens, New York."

CNN報導稱，川普在發布會上強調了必須給醫院提供補給。

“我看到卡車停下來取出屍體時，這些卡車就和（白宮）玫瑰園一樣長。他們停下來，取出屍體，你看看裡面，都是黑色的運屍袋……（這裡是）埃爾赫斯特醫院，必須提供補給。這不是補給，這是在救人。我從沒見過這樣的景象。”
